  If your LG Washer is making rattling, clanking, or thumping noises, or vibrating, it could be due to foreign objects like coins or safety pins in the drum or pump. Stop the washer and check both the drum and drain filter for any obstructions. Heavy wash loads can also cause thumping, which is usually normal. If the noise persists after restarting, contact an authorized service center.

  If your LG Washer is making unusual sounds, it might be out of balance. Stop the washer and redistribute the wash load evenly. Also, ensure that the transit bolts were removed during installation, referring to the Installation Guide if needed. An unevenly distributed wash load can also cause noise; in this case, stop the washer and rearrange the load.
