Overview

This document is an owner's manual for an LG front-loading washing machine, model numbers F1258RD, F1258RDW, F1258RD2, F151258RD29, F1258RD24, WD581202RC, F1258RD29, and WD581242RC, F1258RD9.

Function Description

The LG washing machine is a front-loading appliance designed for washing and drying textile materials. It incorporates several features to enhance performance and user convenience:

  • Ultra Capacity: The large drum enables higher head drop and stronger centrifugal force, reducing tangling and wrinkling, suitable for heavy loads like king size comforters, blankets, and curtains.
  • Direct Drive System: Utilizes an advanced Brushless DC motor that directly drives the drum without a belt and pulley, contributing to efficiency and durability.
  • Tilted Drum and Extra Large Door Opening: The tilted drum and large door opening make loading and unloading clothes easier.
  • Water Circulation: A spray detergent solution and water are applied to the load, accelerating soaking and thorough washing. The detergent suds are removed more easily during the rinse cycle, and the water circulation system uses both water and detergent more efficiently.
  • RollerJets: Washing ball enhancers improve wash performance and reduce damage to clothing. The jets spray and help tumble clothes to enhance washing performance while maintaining fabric care.
  • Built-in Heater: An internal heater automatically heats the water to the best temperature for selected cycles.
  • Auto Restart: This feature allows the program to restart automatically from the stage where it stopped in case of a power failure.
  • Child Lock: Prevents children from pressing any button to change settings during operation.
