The icemaker typically produces about 70-210 cubes in 24 hours. 2. Ensure the house water supply is properly connected, the valve is fully open, and not clogged. 3. A water filter replacement is recommended approximately every six months. 4. The water pressure must be between 20 and 120 psi (138 - 827 kPa) on models without a water filter and between 40 and 120 psi (276 – 827 kPa) on models with a water filter. 5. Check the freezer temperature; the recommended setting for normal ice production is 0°F. 6. Ensure that the doors are closed completely.

If the refrigerator is set to Demo Mode, refer to the FAQs or the Setting the Controls section of this manual for instructions on how to disable Demo Mode. If the refrigerator is in the defrost cycle, wait 30 minutes after the cycle is completed and check the temperature again. If the refrigerator was recently installed or relocated, allow up to 24 hours for it to reach the desired temperature. If relocated, ensure the refrigerator stood upright for 24 hours before connecting it to power.

  If ice is not dispensing from your LG Refrigerator, ensure that all doors are completely closed. Check the ice bin for ice cubes clumping or sticking together due to infrequent use. If the delivery chute is clogged with frost or ice fragments, remove the ice bin and clear the chute with a plastic utensil. Also, check if the dispenser display is locked and unlock it by pressing and holding the Lock button for three seconds. If the ice bin is empty, it may take up to 90 minutes for additional ice to be available.

Ensure the doors are closed completely and that the refrigerator is not installed in a hot location (above 110°F). A clogged condenser or back cover can also cause this issue; clean it with a vacuum cleaner attachment. To conserve energy, minimize door openings, organize food for easy access, and promptly close the door.

If you have a reverse osmosis filtration system, refer to the Water Pressure section. Lowering the refrigerator temperature and reducing how often you open the doors can help.

  If water is not dispensing from your LG Refrigerator, ensure the refrigerator is properly connected to the water supply and the shutoff valve is fully open. If it's a new installation or the water line was recently connected or the water filter has been recently replaced or removed, dispense 2.5 gallons of water to remove trapped air and contaminants. Check if the dispenser panel is locked and unlock it by pressing and holding the Lock button for three seconds. Also, make sure that the refrigerator or freezer doors are closed properly. Inspect the tubing connecting the refrigerator to the house supply valve for any kinks and straighten them out.
