If your LG Freezer has a bad smell, ensure the temperature isn't set to 'Warm'; set it to 'Medium'. Store strong-smelling foods in sealed containers. Check for spoiled vegetables or fruit in the drawer, and throw away any rotten items, cleaning the drawer thoroughly. Avoid storing vegetables for too long.

    • T

Why does the water from my LG GSL360ICEV taste bad?
    • W
      wilcoxthomasSep 23, 2025
If the water from your LG Freezer tastes strange, compare it to the taste of water from your previous purifier. If purified or cold water hasn't been used for a while, it could affect the taste. Replace the filter if it's been a long time since the last replacement. Ensure you've flushed the filter properly after installation. If the water hasn't been used recently, dispense and discharge about 5 liters to refresh it.

Why is my LG GSL360ICEV icemaker not working?
    • M
      Michael FarleySep 8, 2025
If your LG Freezer's automatic icemaker isn't producing ice or is producing only a small amount, consider that it takes about 48 hours after installation to produce ice normally. Ensure the water supply pipe is connected and the valve is fully open, and that the hose isn't bent. If you've recently dispensed a large amount of ice, allow about 24 hours for more to be produced. Check that the icemaker switch or button is set to ON, and that the freezer temperature is set to -18 °C. Avoid frequent door openings and ensure the door is completely closed.
