  If the water from your LG Freezer tastes strange, use the product after dispensing and discharging approximately 5 litres (approximately three minutes) from the water dispenser, especially if the purified or cold water hasn't been used for a while. If it has been a long time since you replaced the filter, do so according to the filter replacement period. When you install or replace the filter for the first time, dispense and discharge approximately 5 litres of purified water from the dispenser by pressing the water dispensing lever to remove air and activated carbon residue.
