Why is there a weird taste and smell in the ice from my LG Refrigerator?
    • J
      Jessica PerkinsSep 9, 2025
If there is a strange taste and smell in the ice from your LG refrigerator, do not use the first batch of ice. If the ice has been stored too long, discard it and make new ice. Ensure food is properly packed to prevent odors from transferring to the ice. If your water supply contains minerals or sulfur, consider installing a filter. Also, clean the inside of the refrigerator and empty the ice bin, discarding any old ice cubes.
