Function Description

The Flex Multi Split Air Conditioner system is designed to provide cooling and heating for multiple indoor spaces using a single outdoor unit. It allows for independent control of temperature and fan speed for each connected indoor unit. The system incorporates features such as an Electronic Static Pressure (ESP) function for adjusting fan speed volume, and options for central control addressing.

  • Piping Length and Elevation (Multi Piping Type):
    • Outdoor Unit Capacity (Btu/h class): 18k, 24k, 36k
    • Max total length of all pipes: 50m (164ft) for 18k, 75m (246ft) for 24k and 36k.
    • Max length of each pipe: 25m (82ft) for all capacities.
    • Min length of each pipe: 3m (10ft) for all capacities.
    • Max Elevation between each indoor unit and outdoor unit (h1): 15m (49ft) for all capacities.
    • Max elevation between indoor units (h2): 7.5m (25ft) for all capacities.
    • Max Combination of Indoor unit (Btu/h class): 24k for 18k outdoor, 33k for 24k outdoor, 48k for 36k outdoor.
    • Pipe Diameter (Gas/Liquid):
      • 9k/12k: Gas 9.52mm (3/8 inch), Liquid 6.35mm (1/4 inch).
      • 18k: Gas 12.7mm (1/2 inch), Liquid 6.35mm (1/4 inch).

  • Flare Nut Torque Specifications:

Usage Features
