Also, replace the water filter approximately every 6 months, when the water filter indicator turns on, when the water dispenser output decreases, or when the ice cubes are smaller than normal. If the refrigerator was recently installed, dispense 2.5 gallons of water to remove trapped air and contaminants.

Check that all refrigerator doors are properly closed. If the water filter was recently replaced, dispense 2.5 gallons of water again. Also, make sure that the tubing connecting the refrigerator to the house supply valve isn't kinked, and the house water supply is connected with the valve fully open.
