Why is my LG LTC20380ST Refrigerator icemaker not working?
    • S
      smithjoshuaAug 23, 2025
There are several reasons why your LG refrigerator's icemaker might not be producing ice or enough ice. If it's a new installation, it can take 12 to 24 hours for ice production to begin and 72 hours for full production. Ensure the refrigerator is connected to a water supply and the supply valve is fully open. Check for kinks in the water source line and straighten it if necessary. The icemaker might be turned off, so locate the ON/OFF switch and ensure it's in the ON position. Also, make sure the sensor area is clean. The freezer temperature might be too warm; the recommended temperature for normal ice production is 0°F. Infrequent door closing may also affect ice production.

What to do if LG LTC20380ST doors will not close completely?
    • B
      bentonraymondAug 27, 2025
If your LG refrigerator doors won't close completely, several factors could be the cause. The refrigerator might not be level. Food packages might be blocking the door. The ice bin, crisper cover, pans, shelves, door bins, or baskets might be out of position. Ensure bins are pushed all the way in and other components are correctly placed. The gaskets might be sticking; clean them and the surfaces they touch, then apply a thin coat of appliance polish or kitchen wax. Also, check if the refrigerator wobbles or seems unstable.

Why is my LG Refrigerator temperature too warm or has moisture inside?
    • Z
      Zachary GarciaAug 27, 2025
Several issues may cause a too warm temperature or moisture buildup in your LG refrigerator. Blocked air vents can restrict airflow; ensure vents are clear. Frequent door openings allow warm air to enter. The control might not be set correctly for the conditions. A large amount of food recently added can affect the temperature. Incorrectly packaged food can also lead to moisture. Make sure the doors are closing completely. Humid weather can introduce moisture when doors are opened. Droplets on the interior back wall can be normal after an automatic defrost cycle.

How to fix LG Refrigerator lights that do not work?
    • J
      John LeAug 29, 2025
If the lights in your LG refrigerator aren't working, first ensure the power supply cord is firmly plugged into a live outlet with proper voltage. If the cord is plugged in, an LED light may have malfunctioned. If this is the case, unplug the refrigerator or turn off power at the circuit breaker or fuse box before proceeding to replace the LED. Note that refrigerator and freezer compartment lamps are LED interior lighting, and service should only be performed by a qualified technician.
