It is suggested to contact local electric power utility co. or qualified electrician. Also, defective P.C.B assembly or defective magnetron can cause this issue, in such cases replace them.

  Sparks in your LG Microwave Oven can be caused by using metallic ware that touches the oven wall or ceramic ware trimmed with gold or silver powder. To prevent this, avoid using metallic ware (unless specified in the cooking guide) and cookware with metallic trimming.
