1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
2. Tap System settings.
3. Tap Accounts & sync.
4. Tap Add account.
5. Tap Email.
6. Tap Other.
7. Enter your Email address and Password.
8. If necessary, update your username.
9. Tap Manual.
10. Tap either IMAP4 or POP3.
11. Tap Next.
Incoming server settings
12. Enter your POP/IMAP server into the field.
13. Tap the Security type field and then tap one of the following options:
o Off
o SSL
o TLS
14. Tap the Port number field and enter the port number.
15. Tap Next.
Outgoing server settings
16. Enter your SMTP server into the field.
17. Tap the Security type field and then tap one of the following options:
o Off
o SSL
o TLS
18. Tap the Port number field and enter the port number.
19. Verify your Username and password. Tap Next.
20. If necessary, update the Account name or My name fields.
21. Tap Done.
Delete an email account
To delete an email account, follow these steps:
1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
2. Tap System settings.
3. Tap Accounts & sync.
4. Tap the desired account (for example, Email or Google).
5. At the top of the screen, tap your email address.
6. Tap the Menu key.
7. Tap Remove account.
8. Tap OK.
Incoming email notification
To turn on and turn off email notifications, follow these steps:
1. From any Home screen, tap Apps.
2. Tap Email.
3. Tap the Menu key.
4. Tap Account settings.
5. Tap Entire settings.
6. Tap Notifications to select or clear the Check box and enable or disable email notifications.
7. If enabled, tap to modify the following email alert settings:
o Notification sound
o Vibrate
o Email permissible range
Attach a file and send an email
To attach files to email messages, follow these steps:
