      If you are not getting any sound from the headphone port on your LG Monitor, and you're using a DP (DisplayPort) or HDMI input for images, first ensure that the headphone port connections are correctly made. Then, try increasing the volume using the joystick on the monitor. Also, set the audio output of your PC to the monitor you are using. For Microsoft Windows, go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound and set the Monitor as the default device.

      If the display color on your LG Monitor appears abnormal, and you see discoloration (like only 16 colors), adjust the color settings to 24 bit (true color) or higher. In Windows, you can do this by going to Control Panel > Display > Settings > Color Quality. If the color appears unstable or monochrome, check the signal cable connection and reconnect it, or try reinserting the PC's graphics card. Also, keep in mind that pixilated spots (red, green, blue, white, or black) can appear on an LCD screen, which is normal and not a sign of an error or performance issue.
