  If your LG Home Theater System isn't working correctly, try turning off the power to both the unit and any connected external devices like your TV, Woofer, DVD-player, or Amplifier, and then turn them back on. If that doesn't work, disconnect the power cord of the unit and all connected external devices, wait a few seconds, and then reconnect them.

  If your LG Home Theater System isn't recognizing the connected USB storage device, it could be due to several reasons. Some USB cables might not provide enough current for normal operation, so try a different cable. Also, using a USB extension cable or USB hub might prevent the devices from being recognized. Note that the unit only supports USB Flash Drives and USB External HDDs with FAT32 or NTFS format. An USB device which requires additional program installation when connected to a computer is not supported.
