      Michelle MoralesSep 8, 2025
If your LG Washer/Dryer is leaking water, it could be due to several reasons. The house drain pipes might be clogged, so unclog them or contact a plumber if needed. The drain hose might be improperly installed or clogged; clean and straighten it, and regularly check the drain filter. Also, ensure the drain pump filter cap is correctly fitted. Note that the control panel powering off due to inactivity is normal; press the Power button to turn the appliance back on. Why is my LG WD20 V2S6/Dryer causing staining on clothes?
    • C
      Candice AdamsSep 18, 2025
If you are experiencing staining with your LG Washer/Dryer, it could be because bleach or softener is dispensed too soon. This can happen if the dispenser compartment is overfilled, causing rapid dispensing. Always measure bleach or softener to prevent overfilling and close the detergent dispenser slowly. Also, avoid adding bleach or softener directly to the clothes in the drum; always use the detergent dispenser to ensure proper dispensing at the right time in the program.

      Tanya HoodSep 9, 2025
If your LG Washer/Dryer is not operating, make sure the door is closed properly and that nothing is preventing it from closing completely. Check the house circuit breakers/fuses and replace them or reset the breaker if necessary. The appliance should be on a dedicated branch circuit. You may need to reset the control by pressing the Power button, reselecting the desired program, and pressing the Start/Pause button. Also, ensure that the Start/Pause button was pressed after setting a program. Check that the household water pressure is adequate by checking another tap in the house. Note that the drum may stop temporarily during certain cycles to heat the water.

Why does my LG Washer/Dryer smell musty or mildewy?
    • L
      Lindsey WilliamsSep 13, 2025
If you notice a musty or mildewy odor in your LG Washer/Dryer, the inside of the drum may not be cleaned properly. Run the Limpieza de Tina (Tub Clean) function regularly. Odors can also occur if the drain hose is not properly installed, causing water to flow back inside; ensure the drain hose does not get kinked or blocked. If the detergent dispenser is not cleaned regularly, odors can result from mold or foreign substances; remove and clean the detergent dispenser, especially the top and bottom of the dispenser’s opening.
