      If your LG Washer is not dispensing detergent completely or at all, make sure that detergent and additives are put into the correct dispenser compartments. Ensure that you're using the suggested amount of detergent. Verify that both hot and cold water faucets are fully on. Press the Power button to turn on the washer if the control panel has powered off due to inactivity. Ensure the power cord is plugged in, the water supply is on, the cycle is set correctly, the lid is closed, and the circuit breaker/fuse is not tripped/blown.

Make sure that both hot and cold water faucets are turned on all the way. Close the lid completely, ensuring nothing is caught underneath. Note that the water will not normally cover the clothes.
