What to do if the heart rate reading is erratic on Lifecycle Integrity Exercise Bike?
    • S
      sperryJul 27, 2025
If the heart rate reading on your Lifecycle Exercise Bike is erratic or absent, first ensure the belt transmitter electrodes are sufficiently wet. Then, check that the belt transmitter electrodes are laying flat against your skin. Try cleaning the belt transmitter with mild soap and water. Ensure the belt transmitter is within 3 feet (1 meter) of the heart rate receiver. If the battery is depleted, contact Life Fitness Customer Support Services for instructions on how to have the Polar telemetry heart rate chest strap replaced. Finally, make sure the Polar telemetry heart rate chest strap is installed and move closer to the heart rate receiver, wait up to 10 seconds for the heart rate to display on the console.

Why are heart rate readings abnormally elevated on Lifecycle Integrity?
    • J
      jmclaughlinAug 6, 2025
If heart rate readings are abnormally elevated on your Lifecycle Exercise Bike, the issue might be electromagnetic interference. Television sets and antennas could be the cause, so try moving the Exercise Bike a few inches away from them, or vice versa, until the readings become accurate. Other sources of interference can be cell phones, computers, cars, high voltage power lines, motor driven exercise equipment, or another heart rate transmitter within 3 feet (1 meter).

How to fix lost heart rate reading on Lifecycle Integrity?
    • T
      tonipetersonAug 16, 2025
If the heart rate reading on your Lifecycle Exercise Bike is initially detected but then lost, it may be due to external noise interference from personal electronic devices like cell phones and portable MP3 players. Try removing these devices or repositioning the exercise equipment. The equipment may also be too close to other sources of noise such as audio/video equipment, fans, two-way radios, and high voltage/high current power lines.
