    • K
      Kevin GilbertAug 8, 2025
If the striding belt on your LifeFitness Treadmill slips during footfall, it may be due to the belt slipping on the front roller during the stall test. To fix this, check the striding belt and re-tension it as necessary.

Why is my LifeFitness Treadmill maximum speed reduced?
    • S
      Sergio GarciaAug 19, 2025
A reduction in maximum speed on your LifeFitness Treadmill can occur due to several reasons. The user might be pushing the striding belt, in which case, instruct them not to do so in either direction. It could also be due to a wax system malfunction; inspect the spray pattern between 8" (200mm) and 16" (400mm), and if it's not correct, verify the wax nozzle is clean, the hoses are not kinked, the wax bag isn't empty, or the wax is not contaminated. Another cause may be a striding belt/deck malfunction, such as the deck laminate wearing through or the underside of the striding belt becoming glazed; in this case, replace both the belt and deck. Finally, an insufficient power source can cause this issue, so ensure the treadmill is plugged into a dedicated 20amp circuit.

    • K
      Kimberly FinleyAug 27, 2025
If you hear a rubbing sound from underneath your LifeFitness Treadmill, it could be due to a couple of things. First, inspect underneath the striding belt and the machine for any foreign objects that may be stuck there, and remove any debris or objects that may be causing interference. Second, check the tinsel and reposition it on the outside of the striding belt if it's installed incorrectly.

Why is my LifeFitness Treadmill making a knocking sound at the rear?
    • D
      Douglas MurphyAug 31, 2025
A knocking sound at the rear of your LifeFitness Treadmill may be due to faulty rear roller bearings, in which case you should replace the rear roller assembly. Alternatively, it could be caused by wax build-up on the rear roller; try running the unit for 10 hours to break in the treadmill.
