Why is the maximum speed reduced on my LifeFitness 97TI?

  The maximum speed of your LifeFitness Treadmill might be reduced due to several reasons: * The user may be pushing the striding belt. To resolve this, instruct users not to push the striding belt in either direction. * The user may be stalling the striding belt, which often happens with heavier users at lower speeds. * There may be a striding belt/deck malfunction, such as a worn deck laminate or a glazed striding belt. If so, replace both the belt and the deck. * There might be an insufficient power source. Ensure the treadmill is plugged into a dedicated 20 amp circuit.

  If your LifeFitness Treadmill resets randomly or pauses, it could be due to: * Insufficient power. Plug the treadmill into a dedicated 20 amp circuit. * A damaged ground prong on the line cord. Replace the line cord. * The line cord not properly seated in the electrical outlet. Check the power connection at both the outlet and the machine. * The emergency stop magnet not engaged. Re-engage the emergency stop magnet. * An obstruction is making contact with the stop switch. Remove any obstructions from the display console and handlebar.

  A rubbing sound from underneath your LifeFitness Treadmill could be due to: * Foreign objects stuck underneath the machine. Inspect underneath the striding belt and machine, and remove any debris or objects. * Incorrectly installed tinsel. Reposition the tinsel on the outside of the striding belt.

  If the striding belt on your LifeFitness Treadmill slips off-center, the issue might be an uneven floor surface. Check the levelers and level the treadmill. Also, inspect the striding belt and re-tension it if necessary.
