Do you have a question about the Lincoln Electric 12667 and is the answer not in the manual?
The Lincoln Electric Ranger 305G is a gasoline engine-powered DC multi-process welding power source and a 120/240 volt AC power generator, designed for professional use. It is suitable for a variety of welding applications including CV-WIRE, DOWN HILL PIPE, CC-STICK, and TOUCH START TIG, and can also be used for limited arc gouging. The machine is designed for portability and can be mounted on a vehicle or used with an optional undercarriage for mobility on construction sites.
The Ranger 305G serves as a versatile welding machine and an auxiliary power generator. Its engine drives a generator that supplies three-phase power for the DC welding circuit and single-phase power for the AC auxiliary outlets. The DC welding control system utilizes "Chopper Technology" for superior welding performance.
As a welding power source, it offers continuous control of welding current or voltage through its OUTPUT CONTROL dial, depending on the selected welding mode. Digital meters display output voltage (in CV-WIRE mode) or current (in CC-STICK, DOWN HILL PIPE, and TIG modes) and retain the display for seven seconds after welding ceases, allowing operators to read the values just prior to stopping. The ARC CONTROL dial adjusts arc force in WIRE, STICK, and DOWN HILL PIPE modes, providing a soft or crisp arc as needed.
As an auxiliary power generator, it provides 10,500 watts Peak and 9500 watts Continuous of 60 Hz, single-phase power. It features two 20 Amp-120 VAC (5-20R) duplex receptacles and one 50 Amp 120/240 VAC (14-50R) receptacle. The 240 VAC receptacle can be split for single-phase 120 VAC operation. The auxiliary power is protected by circuit breakers.
