Overview

The Lincoln Model 1335 is a lever-action transfer pump designed for dispensing various non-corrosive fluids from drums. Its primary function is to efficiently transfer liquids such as motor oil, transmission fluid, gear oil, diesel fuel, and other compatible substances. The pump is particularly versatile due to its variable handle setting, which allows for adjustment based on the viscosity of the fluid being pumped, making it suitable for both light and heavy fluids.

Technical Specifications:

  • Output: Approximately 0.26 quart (250 ml) per stroke. This specification highlights its capacity for efficient fluid transfer.
  • Drum Compatibility: The pump features a telescopic suction tube that fits both 60-liter (16 US gallon) and 205-liter (55 US gallon) drums, offering broad compatibility with common drum sizes.
  • Wetted Components: The pump is constructed with materials chosen for their compatibility with a wide range of fluids. The wetted components include:
    • Aluminum (Pump Head)
    • Steel (Suction tube, pump body, handle)
    • Brass (Rings in pump head)
    • Viton (O-Ring in Suction Tube)
    • PTFE (Under Gland Nut)
  • Fluid Compatibility: The Model 1335 is designed for use with non-corrosive fluids. A comprehensive list of compatible fluids includes:
    • Motor oil
    • Transmission fluid
    • Gear oil
    • Engine coolant / Anti-Freeze (Alcohol Base and Glycol Base/Prestone® Etc.)
    • Denatured Alcohol Ethanol and denaturant
    • Diesel Oil (Fuel ASTM #2) Hydrocarbons
    • Fuel Oils (ASTM #1 thru #9) Hydrocarbons
    • Glycols
    • Hexylene Glycol (Brake Fluid)
    • Hydraulic Oil (Petroleum Base) Hydrocarbons
    • Lubricating Oils (Petroleum) Hydrocarbons
    • Naphtha (Petroleum Spirits) (Thinner) Petroleum fractions
    • Silicone Oils
