3.2.7 Direct dial-in

Direct dialling in 21 0 #

Calls to lines 1 and 2 are signalled on the handsets according to the call

assignment.

Direct dialling in 21 1 #

Calls on the lines are accepted by the LINK 2800 DECT/GAP, the caller

hears a signal tone and can trigger signalling on the relevant handset

after direct dialling the DTMF numbers 1…8. If no direct dialling is

detected within 5 seconds, the signalling is carried out according to the

call assignment. If the selected handset does not answer, the signalling

process is continued according to the call assignment.

This handset is a LINK BOX GAP 300/5000 with a fax machine or modem

connected. Call-waiting tones are not signalled. With a fax subscriber, any

calls cannot be queried using “pick up”.

Partner

Four pairs with “partner handsets” can be configured. Each handset can

only be part of a specific pair. An active call can be transferred by

pressing the “On” key on the partner handset. This feature functions in

both directions between the partner handsets. It can be used to set up a

call using a handset and subsequently continue the conversation using a

DECT headset. Please bear in mind that a handset with this function is

unable to establish an outgoing call as long a call is being made on the

partner handset.
