How to restore factory defaults
You should never need to factory reset your Linksys HomeWRK nodes—a time-consuming process. A
factory reset restores your nodes to the state theywere in when you took them out of the box. All
settings will be erased, but when your parent node restarts it will automatically set up with your
settings from the Linksys HomeWRK servers.
If you factory reset your parent node, you also need to factory reset your child nodes. If you want until
the parent node is ready again, any child nodes will automatically find it.
All wireless devices will disconnect from your Wi-Fi until the nodes are fully reset and your WiFi
networks are ready.
To reset a node:
With your node connected to power and turned on, press and hold the Reset button on the
bottom. The light on top of the node will turn red and fade in pulses. Do not release the button
until the light goes out and then turns bright red.
