Troubleshooting
Problem Solution
There is no sound.
Ensure the DVD player is firmly connected to your TV and amplifier.
Make sure the volume control is set to an appropriate level and the sound is not muted.
There is no picture.
Ensure your DVD player is firmly connected to your TV or any other devices (e.g. amplifier).
Ensure your TV is working properly.
Make sure the DVD Player is in the correct mode. Press the N/P button repeatedly until the correct video
output setting is selected.
Ensure the disc is correctly loaded (with the label side facing upwards).
Make sure that the disc you are playing is undamaged and clean.
The remote control
does not work.
Make sure there are no obstacles between the player and the remote control.
Point the remote control to the remote control sensor on the player.
The batteries in the remote control unit may need replacing.
There are
problems with the
picture.
Make sure the disc is clean and unscratched.
As the player is controlled by a microcomputer, when encountering a problem switch off the power first
and then switch it back on again in a few seconds. This may solve your problem.
No sound for 5.1
Channel Audio
Output
The default 5.1 channel downmix setting is “Stereo”. Please change to “5.1 Channel” at downmax menu.
