5. Insert the included ¼" - 20 x 3" bolts through holes in the pet leash housing and bumper (Fig. 3).
6. Using a ⁄" socket or wrench secure by threading the ¼" breakaway nuts, flange end facing up to the
bumper, onto the bolts (Fig. 3A).

7. Using a ⁄" socket or wrench for the bolt and a ⁄" socket or wrench for the nut, tighten and break the
heads off of the two ¼" - 20 breakaway nuts (Fig. 4).
