Clean the old seat and toilet bowl before removal.
Find the lever at the back of the seat assembly.
Slide the lever to unlock and pull the seat away.
Use a screwdriver to detach screws from the seat base.
Remove the seat base, blocks, and nuts.
Properly dispose of the removed toilet seat.
Remove the new seat assembly from its packaging.
Install seat nuts, base, blocks, and screws.
Tighten screws to fasten the seat base to the bowl.
Slide the lid and seat onto the installed base.
Listen for a click to ensure the seat is locked.
Verify the lid closes completely over the seat.
Jiggle the seat to confirm it is securely attached.
