Operation
Power On/Off
During normal caravan operation, the OCAU System will be on. Users may choose to power-down the
system for maintenance, to conserve battery or when putting the vehicle in storage.
There are two ways to power on and off the OCAU System.
1. If pressing the OCAU GUI produces no graphics, images or buttons, the A7 Touchscreen may be off. If
the A7 Touchscreen is off, look for the physical button on the lower right side of the bezel. Press the
button for 2-3 seconds to turn the A7 Touchscreen on.
NOTE: It may take a few moments to start up the system or to shut it down. When the A7 Touchscreen
powers-up, the OCAU GUI will appear.
2. If the OCAU GUI buttons are unresponsive or displays show no data, press the power button (Fig. 1A)
to turn on the OCAU System. This will allow the user to access caravan controls and information.
