RECYCLING THE BATTERIES
Do not dispose of batteries in the household waste. To protect the environment, dispose of batteries
in accordance with applicable regulations.
Drop them in your nearest battery container or return them to your store.
Do not recharge the batteries, dismantle them or throw them into a fi re.
Do not expose them to high temperatures or direct sunlight.
Do not incinerate them.
WARNING!
Only use the type of batteries specifi ed in this manual.
Replace the batteries when they are spent or if they leak.
Remove the batteries prior to an extended period of non-use of the appliance.
TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
The unit does not
turn on
No power.
Not connected to the power
supply.
The internal safety device has
been activated.
Wait and plug it into the power
supply
Wait 30 minutes and, if the
problem persists, contact your
repair service.
The appliance only
works for a short time
There are kinks in the air outlet
hose.
Something is preventing the
air from being expelled to the
outside.
Place the hose correctly, so that
it is as short as possible without
any bends to avoid bottlenecks.
Check and remove any obstacles
blocking air discharge.
The unit works but
does not cool the
room
Windows, doors and/or curtains
are open.
Close doors, windows and
curtains and re-read the “Tips for
more e cient operation of the
unit” section.
There are heat sources in the
room (oven, hair dryer, etc.).
Eliminate the heat sources.
The air outlet hose is detached
from the unit.
Reattach the hose to the housing
at the back of the unit.
The appliance’s technical
specifi cations are not adequate
for the room in which it is located.
Move the unit.
During use, there is
an unpleasant odour
in the room
Clogged air fi lter Clean the fi lter
The appliance does
not work three
minutes after start-
up
The internal compressor’s safety
device prevents the appliance
from restarting before three
minutes have elapsed since it was
switched o .
Wait. This delay is part of the
normal use of the unit.
One of the following
messages appears on
the screen:
The unit has an auto-diagnostics
system to identify a number of
malfunctions.
