This document is an instruction manual for a Livoo hand blender, model DOP204.
Function Description
The Livoo hand blender is designed for household use, ideal for blending baby food, soups, sauces, milkshakes, and mayonnaise. It can also be used in similar applications such as staff kitchen areas in shops, offices, and other working environments, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and other residential type environments, and bed and breakfast type environments. The blender is designed to mince or mix food.

Usage Features
General Safety Instructions:
- Before use, verify that the wall outlet voltage matches the rated voltage.
- Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or if it has malfunctioned or been damaged. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid hazards.
- Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
- To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not operate with wet hands, spill liquid into the product, or submerge it in water.
- Unplug the appliance when not in use, before attaching or removing parts, and before cleaning.
- Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used near children or infirm persons.
- Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas burner or a heated oven.
- Do not use outdoors (for household use only).
- This appliance should not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
- Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning safe use and understand the hazards involved.
- Children should not play with the appliance.
- Always disconnect the blender from the supply if left unattended, and before assembling, disassembling, or cleaning.
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote control system.
- Accessories, other than those supplied with the appliance, should include instructions for their safe use.
- There is potential injury from misuse.
- Care must be taken when handling sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl, and during cleaning.
- Switch off the appliance and disconnect from the supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move during use.
- It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times as it comes into direct contact with food.
- Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the food processor or blender, as it can be ejected due to sudden steaming.
Operating the Blender:
- Place ingredients in the beaker. If ingredients are hot, wait until their temperature drops below 70°C to prevent overheating the housing.
- Insert the blender bar into the motor unit and turn clockwise to lock it.
- Connect to power. To avoid splattering, immerse the blender into the ingredients before switching it on.
- Firmly hold the bowl containing the ingredients.
- Press the on/off button to switch on.
- To activate turbo speed, press the turbo switch directly.
- Move the blender up and down to mix the food.
- After use, unplug the appliance and disassemble the fitting.
Maintenance Features
Cleaning and Storage:
- Caution: Be extremely careful when handling the chopping blade. Do not touch the blades with your fingers as they are very sharp and can cause injury.
- Ensure the unit is unplugged from the wall outlet before cleaning.
- Remove the removable part (blender stick) from the motor base. Clean it with soap water. It is easier to clean accessories immediately after use; wash in warm soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly before storing.
- The motor base can be cleaned with a damp cloth and should be wiped dry.
- Caution: The motor base should never be immersed in water or held under water.
- Do not use detergent or abrasive material to clean the hand blender, as this may damage it.
Disposal:
- The European Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) requires that old household electrical appliances not be disposed of in the normal household waste stream.
- Old appliances must be collected separately to optimize recovery and recycling of materials and reduce environmental impact.
- The crossed-out dustbin symbol on the product indicates the obligation for separate collection.
- Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information regarding correct disposal.
