9. Maintenance and cleaning
Modi Buggy is a mechanical device with a supporting structure made of steel and aluminum
with powder coating. Foam-sponge inserts attached to the frame are covered in a fabric upholstery.
None of the elements of the buggy cause skin irritation. Modi Buggy, like any other medical device,
should be kept in a clean condition and used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
The frame should be cleaned with a damp cloth. Mild detergents or enzymatic
cleaning agents can be used. Dust or use a soft brush if necessary.
Clean the foam-sponge inserts with a damp cloth or a mild detergent. The sponge
needs to dry thoroughly at room temperature. DO NOT TUMBLE DRY
NOTE! THE UPHOLSTERY SHOULD BE COMPLETELY DRY BEFORE USE
The frame should be maintained and cleaned from dirt and mud regularly.
Do not use chemicals.
Do not wash the upholstery in a washing machine.
DO NOT TUMBLE DRY
Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and check the seat's temperature before putting
a child in.
NOTE! MODI BUGGY SHOULD BE SERVICED AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR (EVERY
12 MONTHS) BY A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN. IT IS NECESSARY TO CARRY OUT
PERIODIC INSPECTION OF THE BUGGY MOVING PARTS, LOCKING MECHANISM,
ADJUSTMENT FUNCTIONS. PERIODIC REVIEW OF THE DEVICE ENSURES A LONG AND
TROUBLE-FREE OPERATION.
