9. Maintenance and cleaning
Modi Buggy™ is a mechanical device with a supporting structure made of steel and aluminum
with powder coating. Foam-sponge inserts attached to the frame are covered in a fabric upholstery.
None of the elements of the buggy cause skin irritation. Modi Buggy™, like any other medical device,
should be kept in a clean condition and used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
• The frame should be cleaned with a damp cloth. Mild detergents or enzymatic
cleaning agents can be used. Dust or use a soft brush if necessary.
• Clean the foam-sponge inserts with a damp cloth or a mild detergent. The sponge
needs to dry thoroughly at room temperature. DO NOT TUMBLE DRY
NOTE! THE UPHOLSTERY SHOULD BE COMPLETELY DRY BEFORE USE
• The frame should be maintained and cleaned from dirt and mud regularly.
• Do not use chemicals.
• Do not wash the upholstery in a washing machine.
• DO NOT TUMBLE DRY
• Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and check the seat's temperature before putting
a child in.
NOTE! MODI BUGGY™ SHOULD BE SERVICED AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR (EVERY
12 MONTHS) BY A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN. IT IS NECESSARY TO CARRY OUT
PERIODIC INSPECTION OF THE BUGGY – MOVING PARTS, LOCKING MECHANISM,
ADJUSTMENT FUNCTIONS. PERIODIC REVIEW OF THE DEVICE ENSURES A LONG AND
TROUBLE-FREE OPERATION.
