Installation, connection.
Installation.
Install your TV so that bright light or
sunlight cannot fall on the screen.
Otherwise, you will get reflections and
the brilliance of the picture will be
impaired.
Make sure that the ventilation
slots on the back are unobstructed at all
times. They are provided for cooling of
the set.
Do not stand articles containing
water, such as flower vases, on the set.
if the vase tips over and water gets into
the set, damage will be inevitable.
Contrast filter plate: A contrast filter
plate has been provided with your
‘Art Vision® set. The mounting
instructions are given on page 59.
Video recorder compartment: The
“Art Vision“ has a compartment behind
the speaker grille for one of the new flat
video recorders, as now available from
Loewe. Press lightly on the top of the
speaker grille; it can now be hinged
forward.
Connection.
To the antenna.
Insert the plug of your antenna system
into the antenna socket of the set. Do
you want to connect a video recorder as
well? In this case, insert the antenna
plug in the antenna inlet of the video
recorder. Connect the antenna outlet of
the recorder to the antenna socket of
the TV with a second antenna cable.
Additional antenna connections
are necessary for satellite reception.

Connection to power supply.
Plug the TV into a power socket. The
set can operate on single phase AC
voltages from 195 to 250 volts, 50 or
60 Hz.
Remote control.
Insert the three batteries provided in the
battery compartment. Push the sliding
cover back to its fullest extent. Take a
small screwdriver or ballpoint, insert the
blade or tip in the small opening directly
behind the €) key.

Lift the screwdriver or balipoint; the
cover will then push easily past its
position of engagement. Insert the
batteries with correct polarity, as
indicated by the symbols provided.
Replace the cover and push back into
position to reclose the battery
compartment.
Subsequently, use only alkaline
miniature dry cells, Type IEC LR 03.
Important! For the sake of our
environment, please dispose of old
batteries only in the special refuse!
