a
slightly
reddish
shade
with

What
to
do
when
colour
spots
occur.
If
you
notice
a
“colour
spot
which
may
occasionally
occur
after
the
location
of
the
set
has
been
changed,
switch
off
the
set
at
the
“Power‘
button
and
leave
it
switched
off
for
at
least
half
an
hour.
Then
switch
on
again
-
the
spot
will
have
disappeared.
The
automatic
demagnetisation
circuit
for
the
picture
tube
will
have
“erased“
the
spot.
Sharpness
of
the
colour
transitions.
The
transitions
(edges)
from
one
colour
to
the
next
can
best
be
adjusted
using
the
colour
bars
of
the
test_cards.

a
particularly
wide
range
of
adjustments.

again
shows
you
the
preset
values
for

sound
settings.
All
sound
settings
can
be
adjusted
using
the
remote
control
unit.

the
volume
can
be
adjusted
on
the
set.

The

width
(with
stereo
reception)
or
sound
surround
(with
mono
reception)
can
now
be
either
activated
or
deactivated
with
the
buttons

During
stereo
reception,
the
increase
in
base
width
creates
the
impression
as
if
the
loudspeakers
of
the
set
were
further
apart.
This
considerably
increases
the
stereo
effect.
Switching
from
stereo
to
mono
or
sound
track
1
to
sound
track
2.
When
a
stereo
broadcast
is
received,
the
set
switches
automatically
to
stereo.
If
you
nevertheless
wish
to
receive
the
programme
in
mono,
press
the
button
“Sound
function

twice.
<Stereo>
will
be
displayed;
you
can
then
_switch
to
mono
with
the
buttons
:
<Mono>
is
then
displayed.
“Nicam“
Sound
Standard,
Dual
sound
or
stereo
broadcasts
can
be
made
in
Spain,
Sweden
and
England
with
the
“Nicam“
sound
standard.
The
receiver
must
be
equipped
with
a
Nicam
decoder
in
order
to
receive
such
broadcasts.
The
TV
set
is
set
automatically
to
stereo
in
the
case
of
Nicam
sound
transmissions.
