Selecting programmes on the set.
Switch from programme to programme
forwards with button (4) and from
programme to programme backwards
with button {-) in the same way as on
the remote control unit.
Calling up the programme overview.
lf you forget which programme is stored
at which memory location, simply_call
up the overview by pressing the
button. A list of the stored programmes
immediately appears on the screen.
The first overview page shows you
a maximum of 26 programme memory
locations. If more than 26 locations are
programmed, the current page number
and the number of overview pages
available, e.g. 1/3, is displayed in the
top right-hand corner. You can then
page back and forth between the
overview pages with buttons @) and ®.
Calling up the channel display.
Do you want to know on which channel
the station you are just watching is
broadcasting? Call up the “Main menu
by pressing button @). When the blue
cursor bar is on menu point “Station
search and storage“, press button
again. The sub-menu “Station” is now
displayed, including the channel
number and channel band.
Starting station search.
Do you want to know what other
stations can be received with your
antenna system? Briefly press button
The station search run starts and stops
as soon as a Station is picked up; to
restart the programme search run, press
button ® again. Press button @ to exit
from the menu.
Adjusting the picture.
Depending on the programme or the
ambient light conditions, you may
occasionally want to adjust the picture
settings. Here the “values“ of the
individual settings are of assistance. The
set expresses all the settings for
contrast, brightness, etc. in figures
which appear on the screen during
setting.
All picture settings can be
adjusted via the remote control unit.
Contrast.
The contrast depends on the brightness
in the room. As a general rule of thumb:
The brighter the surroundings, the
higher the contrast settings have to be.
To adjust the contrast, press the buttons
“Contrast” CO @ ©.
Reduce the contrast with 93"
increase the contrast with ;
Setting the contrast_on the set.
Press function button C¥ twice. The
grey cursor appears on the screen
against <Contr.>. You can now adjust
the contrast with buttons (7) and -) as
long as the cursor is displayed.
Brightness.
Press button “Picture function“ © twice.
The grey cursor then appears on the
screen against <Bright>. You can now
adjust the brightness with buttons
© as long as <Bright> is
displayed on the screen. Ensure that
black areas just still appear black.
Setting the brightness on the set.
Press function button C¥ three times
and adjust the brightness with buttons
(4) and -).
Picture sharpness (contour).
Press button “Picture function © three
times. <Sharpness> appears on the
screen. You can now adjust the
sharpness slightly with buttons
O . The changes can best be
seen on the test card. Values from —1
via 0 to +1 can be set in steps.
S-PAL (Super-PAL).
With “S-PAL ON“, the Moiré effect in
certain picture scenes, e.g. fences,
checked clothing, etc., will be
considerably reduced.Press button
“Picture function“ four times. Set
“S-PAL ON“ with buttons © @ ©. The
function remains active until you switch
to another programme. S-PAL can also
be stored only for specific programmes,
see section “Programme-specific
options".
