FITTING FLANGES ONTO THE CRANK ASSEMBLY
Fitting flanges onto the crank assembly:
There are two ways to fit the chainrings onto the Zed crank assembly:
1. either via the left crank when the crank assembly is not assembled on the frame, as
shown in figure 2.
2. or via the right crank when the crank assembly is assembled on the frame, as shown in
figure 4.

Chainring Compatibility:
Standard or compact chainrings that meet
the requirements described below may be
used on the ZED 2 crank assembly:
- must have 5 attachment holes
- must have bolt diameter of 110 mm or 130
mm
- must have effective thickness of 4 mm at
tightening for the outer flange
- must have effective thickness of 3.5 mm
at tightening for the inner flange
- must accommodate specific 3.5 mmthick
Look inter-flange spacers
- must allow use of specific Look flange
attachment pieces.
Most available flanges meet these requirements.
