Confirm all parts are received and check for shipping damage before proceeding.
Place the saw on a sturdy, flat, and level surface for stable operation.
Install leveling bolts in each saw leg and adjust until the saw is level.
Remove the top plug, add entire contents of oil, and replace the plug.
Verify switches are OFF and hood is closed before plugging into a grounded outlet.
Use LORTONE Cutting Oil or a neutral petroleum base oil with high flash point.
Add approximately 3 gallons of coolant to cover the bottom 1/2"-3/4" of the blade.
Dress the blade prior to initial use by cutting through a dressing stick.
Dress blades frequently to prevent dulling, glazing, dishing, or warping.
Choose feed rate based on material and blade; too fast can cause damage.
Clamp material firmly, adjust cross feed, and ensure clearance for arbor shaft.
Close hood, turn power ON, and listen for operational changes or overheating.
Turn power OFF, remove slab, inspect material, and advance carriage.
Drain oil, wipe sludge from case and feed screw, then add clean oil.
Bearings are pre-greased; grease through housing hole if saw is heavily used.
Use an 18" blade with 3/4" arbor hole; remove arbor nut, flange, and blade.
Clean flanges, install new blade carefully, tighten securely, and adjust slab catcher.
