Install Bank Fuse Unit (BFU) in Power Shelf
SUMMARY:
The
AUG11
or
40D BFU
is used in the J1C182BA, J1C182BB, or
J1C182PB-1 power shelf. The BFU (without fuses) should be installed with the power
shelf equipped The the fuses are installed to verify that they do not blow.
1. Verify -48 volts DC (-42 to -56) on one of the following units installed in the
power shelf;

-48L
on
LDU
,
GND
to
-48L
on
RCU
,
GND
to
-48L
(1) (2) (3) on
RSU
,
-48RTN( )
to
-48V( )
on
TB1
of J1C182PB shelf.
2. Get required number of
BFU
s (refer to Figure 1 and Table A) to be inserted
into RT power shelf.
