Convert Series 5 RT from Feature Package B Mode 1
to Feature Package B Mode 2
DO ITEMS BELOW IN ORDER LISTED FOR DETAILS, GO TO

type LIUs are installed in the RT, proceed to Step

DLP-5052. Change LIUs in LIU slot A, C, and P (if protection is used), one at
a time, to
AUA6( )D
version LIUs.

type TRUs are installed in the RT, proceed to Step
6
.

CAUTION:
This will cause service outage (major, near end, and
digroups AB alarms) for about 60 seconds while the TRU is
being replaced.
Quickly replace
TRU
in shelf group
AB
with an
AUA105 TRU
.
Verify the
TRU FAIL
indicator lights then goes off, and the
digroups AB alarms clear. If not, replace
TRU
.
