CAUTION:
Removing the ADU or BCU for a FPB Mode 1 system will
interrupt service on Digroup A. Set the AUA27 options
correctly before removing the AUA24 ADU. When replacing
either the ADU or BCU, choose a time when there is little or
no service on Digroup A and quickly replace the ADU/BCU
to minimize service interruption.
Comment: Removing the ADU or BCU in a FPB Mode 2 system does
not interrupt service.
1. If required, replace
MC97724A1 BCU
with
MC97771A1
or
MC97776A1 BCU
. Verify the
BCU FAIL
indicator does not
remain on. If not, replace BCU.
DLP-5062. Replace
AUB24 ADU
with
AUB27 ADU
.
3. Update office records.
