Turn Up J1C182PB-1 Optics Power Shelf
and Install AYB1B Optical Units
DO ITEMS BELOW IN ORDER LISTED FOR DETAILS, GO TO
1.
NOTE:
This procedure assumes the following:
• The outside cable pairs or fiber lines are not closed
through to the RT so that the RT is isolated from the
digital lines
• The frame or 80E-type cabinet housing the RT has
been installed
• The J1C182AE dual channel bank assembly has been
installed in the frame or 80E-type cabinet
• The miscellaneous pair panel, optical shelves, optics
power shelf, and fan shelves have been installed in
the frame
• The LICs (lightguide interconnect cables) from the RT
frame or 80E-type cabinet to the OIC (optical intercon-
nect) have been installed
• The acceptance TAB procedures in this volume have
been performed.
• The 80E-type cabinet, if used, supporting equipment
has been turned up using procedures in this TAB.
This procedure contains instructions concerning the installation of
the various units into the optics power shelf, optical shelves, and
for verifying that the units are operating properly.
