Water Supply and Drain Connecons

WARNING: To prevent damage to the freezer mechanism, do not operate this icemaker when the water supply
is OFF, or if the pressure is below the recommended minimum water pressure of 10 PSIG (0.7 bar). Stop the icemaker
unl proper water pressure is resumed.
 Water supply inlet is 1/2” FPT and must be connected only to a potable water supply.
 A water supply line shut-o valve and drain valve must be installed.
 Water supply pressure should be a minimum of 10 PSIG (0.7 bar) and a maximum of 113 PSIG (7.5 bar). If
the pressure exceeds 113 PSIG (7.5 bar), use a pressure reducing valve
 Drain outlet is 1/2” FPT.
 For gravity drain installaon, drain must be 1/4” fall per foot 92 cm fall per meter) on horizontal runs to get
good ow.
 An air gap of a minimum of 2 vercal inches (5 vercal cm) should be between the end of the drain pipe
and the oor drain.
 The drain pipe must be installed properly to prevent a backow into the storage bin.
 For condensate pump installaon, refer to the instrucon manual included with the pump.
 A plumbing permit and services of a licensed plumber may be required in some areas.
 This icemaker should be installed in accordance with applicable naonal, state and local regulaons.
