Guard
WARNING!
Never attempt to lock the on/off switch (1) in its ON
position!
The guard (17) protects the operator against
thrown objects during operation. It is equipped with
a knife (17d) that cuts the trimming lines (18d) (Fig.
19).
Trimmer head
Use the trimmer head (18) to cut smaller types of weed, lawn grass or similar soft
vegetation.
Cutter blade
Use the cutter blade (21) to cut heavier weeds, brush and similar vegetation.

NOTE:
Always remove the knife protector (17e) before use.
Switching on/off
1. Hold the product with one hand at the lefthandle
bar (13) and with the other at the righthandle
bar (3).
2. Press the lock-off button (2) and hold it in
position (Fig. 20, step 1).
3. Squeeze the on/off switch (1) to switch the
product on (Fig. 20, step 2). Release the lockoff
button (2) afterwards.
4. Release the on/off switch (1) to switch
theproduct off.
