ages caused by the improper use of the es-
presso coffee machine.
This device is not intended for use by children
or persons with impaired perception unless
they are properly supervised by someone who
can ensure the proper use.
2 - TRANSPORT
2.1 Packaging
The espresso coffee machine SELECTION
Emotion is packaged into a cardboard box
protected with cushioning packaging made of
polyurethane foam.
Warnings:
- After removing the machine from the pack-
age, check its condition and ensure that the
package contents are complete.
- The packaging material must never be left
within reach of children and must be dis-
posed of properly.
- In case of damage to the machine or miss-
ing parts, do not use the machine and im-
mediately inform your local reseller.
2.2 Handling of Machine
The espresso coffee machine may be trans-
ported manually or with a pallet truck or forklift.
2.3 Storage
The machine must be packaged properly and
stored in dry environments with a temperature
between +5 and +30 ºC and relative humidity
not higher than 70%.
A maximum of four boxes can be stacked to-
gether.
1 – WARNINGS
1.1 General Warnings
- The electrical and water connections must
be set up carefully by the user, according to
the instructions in chapter 4 of this “Operat-
ing Manual.
- Under no circumstances may the installer
modify the existing system set up by the user.
- This Operating Manual is an integral part of
the machine and must be read carefully by
the user prior to operating the machine.
- Keep this Operating Manual handy for fu-
ture reference.
- The machine must be delivered without wa-
ter inside the boiler in order to avoid pos-
sible damages caused by frost.
- Set up the ground connections for the elec-
trical system.
- Do not touch the machine with d amp and/
or wet hands and feet.
- Do not use the machine while barefoot.
- Do not connect the feeder cable to movable
extension cords or similar objects.
- Do not use the machine if the feeder cable
is wound up.
- Do not allow untrained staff and/or children
to use the machine.
- To avoid water inltrations inside the ma-
chine, place the cups on the cup warmer
with the hollow side facing up.
- The following symbol indicates the danger
of burns:
1.2 Foreseen Use
The espresso coffee machine SELECTION
Emotion is built to make espresso coffee, to
produce hot water to make tea and other in-
fusions, to produce steam and heat up bev-
erages (milk, chocolate, cappuccino, punch,
etc.).
This machine was conceived exclusively for
the aforesaid uses.
All other uses are deemed improper and
therefore prohibited by the manufacturer. The
