Installing the Rudder (continued)
Step 3:
Mount the rudder on the back of the kayak while
making sure the rudder lift lines (black rope) are
straight and not twisted.
Align the holes in the rudder bracket with holes the
holes in the rudder block, insert M6x116mm hex
head cap screw through the holes and tighten with
M6 nut.
Note: the bottom of the rudder block should rest on
top of the bottom of the rudder bracket.

Step 4:
Using a screwdriver and wrench, remove the
screw, washer and nut from the rudder block
wings.
Insert the screw and washer through the loop at
the end of the wire steering cable, then insert the
screw through the top of the the closest rudder
block wing.
Using a screwdriver and wrench, secure with the
nut that was just removed.
Repeat process for other steering cable.
Note: Do not overtighten, the cable must be able to
pivot freely around the screw
