Dehydrator does not
turn on.
Plug is not properly inserted into correct
outlet.
Make sure that outlet is correct and reinsert
plug.
On/Off Switch is not in “On” Position. Make sure switch is in “On” Position.
Fan is running, but there
is not heat.
Heater malfunction Turn off unit and contact customer service.
Heater is working, but
fan is not running.
Foreign object stuck in fan. Remove object.
Fan malfunction Turn off and contact customer service.
Unit is working, but
food is not dehydrating.
Too much food on tray Reduce the amount of food on tray.
Food items are overlapping. Evenly space food items on tray.
Water droplets on the
door
Too much food on tray Reduce the amount of food on tray.
Food contains too much moisture.
Reduce the amount of food and increase the
dehydrating time.
Over or under heating Temperature control malfunction Turn off and contact customer service.
Food is not evenly
dehydrated.
Food items are not uniformly thick.
Make sure all food items are the same thick-
ness and evenly spread on the tray.
Too much food on tray Reduce the amount of food on tray.
Fan is making abnormal
sounds.
Screen fan cover is touching fan.
Turn off the dehydrator and allow it to cool.
Gently pull screen away from fan using needle
nose pliers.
