Before you use your appliance for the first time
Installing your appliance
• Unwind the length of power cord you require.
NB : Your appliance has an in-built cord storage (= no trailing
flexes !).
• Remove the paper strip from the coffee bean compartment and
the documents from the water tank.
• Open the left-hand lid, lift up the tank by its handle and fill it with
freshly-drawn water.
Never put hot water in the tank.
Never fill it with water above the “MAX.” level.
• When you put the water tank back, push it right down in order
to free the valve at the bottom.
NB : You can also fill the tank directly, without removing it from
the machine.
• Close the lid.
• Plug the machine into an earthed socket.
