What to do if my Magma Connoisseur has a flare-up?
    • G
      Gary RichmondJul 28, 2025
A flare-up in your Magma Grill can occur due to several reasons. It could be caused by excessive cooking temperature, so operate only on low when the lid is closed. Grease and/or residue build-up can also cause this, so clean the grill components. Other causes include excessive fat in meats, so trim fat before grilling, or excessive oils in marinades, so try using non-oil based marinades.

      kharrisAug 4, 2025
Hot spots on your Magma Grill can be attributed to a few factors. Ensure the grill is level. Grease or residue build-up can also cause uneven heating, so be sure to clean the components. Additionally, excessive fat in meats (trim fat before grilling) or excessive oil in marinades (use non-oil based marinades) can contribute to hot spots.

What to do if my Magma Grill flame experiences blow-out?
    • R
      Richard PierceAug 11, 2025
If your Magma Grill flame experiences blow-out, it could be because the flame is too low, so try increasing the flame. Also, wind directly on the burner can cause blow-out, so block the wind when opening the lid. An obstructed gas flow can also be the culprit, so clean the burner and valve orifice, removing any debris or spider webs.

Why is the flame on my Magma Connoisseur yellow and sooty?
    • D
      David PhelpsAug 18, 2025
A yellow and sooty flame on your Magma Grill indicates obstructed gas flow. Clean the burner and valve orifice, and remove any debris or spider webs.
