Why is the pump motor not working on my Magnaflux Industrial Electrical unit?
    • D
      David GutierrezSep 12, 2025
If the pump motor on your Magnaflux Industrial Electrical unit isn't operating, here's what to check: 1. Replace fuse 4FU. Check for shorts if the fuse continues to blow. 2. Check 115v on wire 4 to see if relay 2CR is not functioning. Note that the pump is external.

Why is the output current low at higher current control settings on my Magnaflux Industrial Equipment?
    • T
      Tara MillerAug 25, 2025
If you're experiencing low output current at higher current control settings on your Magnaflux Industrial Equipment, consider these potential causes. First, the impedance of the part might exceed the equipment's capabilities; check the equipment output with a central conductor. If the output is within specifications, the part cannot be tested with this equipment. Second, low line voltage can be a factor; check and correct the line voltage if possible, or try another line. Third, loose connections at bus bars or cable joints can cause this issue; clean the connections and tighten the hardware. Fourth, ensure the correct voltage range is selected on the current controls. Finally, make sure the part is clamped properly.

What to do if the headstock on my Magnaflux Industrial Equipment doesn't extend or retract?
    • G
      guzmansharonAug 26, 2025
If the headstock on your Magnaflux Industrial Equipment isn't extending to clamp or retracting to release the part, check these items: 1. Ensure the air supply is properly connected to the inlet (90psi), with a pressure regulator setting of at least 40 psi. 2. Check the input, I-00, light on the PLC when the footswitch is pressed. If it doesn’t light, replace the foot switch cable and/or plug. 3. Verify that the output, O-14, light on the PLC toggles with the footswitch. If it does, replace the solenoid valve 2SOL or the complete solenoid valve. 4. Check and replace fuse 8FU if necessary. 5. Replace the 24VDC power supply if there is no power at 1PS.

What causes the white light (hood enclosure) to not work on Magnaflux Industrial Equipment?
    • A
      Ashley DurhamAug 30, 2025
If the white light in the hood enclosure of your Magnaflux Industrial Equipment isn't working, start by replacing the bulb. If that doesn't solve the issue, check fuse 4FU and replace it, checking for shorts if it blows again. If the bulb and fuse are fine, check the white light switch and replace it if defective. Lastly, the relay 3CR could be defective and may need to be replaced.
