  If your Magnum Energy Remote Control is non-functional, with no lights, text on the LCD, or response to button presses, check the communication cable connecting the inverter to the remote. Ensure it's connected to the REMOTE port and that the correct cable is used. A 4-conductor telephone cable can be substituted to test the cable. Also, verify that the inverter is connected to the batteries and operating correctly without AC power connected, meaning it can invert and power AC loads from the batteries.

  If the LCD text display on your Magnum Energy Remote Control is locked up and unresponsive, showing 'revision' or 'connecting', it could be due to poor RJ11 cable connections. Reset the remote by disconnecting the remote cable from the inverter for 5 seconds, then reconnect. Check the RJ11 cable connection on the back of the remote, ensuring it's pushed into the correct port until you hear a 'click'. Also, make sure the remote is getting enough power from the inverter by ensuring the inverter batteries are connected and the inverter is operating correctly, able to invert and power AC loads from batteries without AC power connected to the inverter AC inputs.

  If the inverter is on, the green LED is blinking, but there's no output on your Magnum Energy Remote Control, the inverter might be in Search mode. You can either disable Search mode if it's not needed or turn on loads greater than the Search Watts setting.
