When a falsh unit is used for photographing, connect the
synchro cord to the synchro socket
(2).
When using an electronic flash unit, set the M-X synchro
selector
(3) on X to synchronize all shutter speeds.
When using M-class flash bulbs, set the M-X synchro selector
(3) on M to synchronize flash at all shutter speeds. This M-X
synchro selector can be switched even after cocking the
shutter.
When photographing without flash, keep the M-X synchro
selector on X.
