Q: How many sq feet can my MAMMOTH xC purify?
A: The MAMMOTH xC boasts the incredible ability to clean up to 3,500 sq feet of space
with the use of ozone. Passively, the MAMMOTH xC can lter a large room size of about
600 sq/ft.
Q: Why am I having trouble turning my MAMMOTH xC ON?
A: The most common reason is that your lters are installed incorrectly. Make sure the lter
is pressed against the silver safety lever at the bottom right. Otherwise, check main power
switch in the back of the unit.
Q: My MAMMOTH xC is producing a weird smell, which is present
when the “Purify” option is On. There is also a faint buzzing sound.
What is with the smell and sound?
A: This “weird” smell is Ozone. Ozone is used to destroy strong odors and micro-organisms
in the air and bacteria in the home. This should only be used for a short duration of time.
This Ozone feature is optional. The MAMMOTH xC with the Ozone OFF or uninstalled will
still have all the following ltration benets: 1) Regular Filter 2) HEPA Filter 3) Carbon Filter
4)Photocatalytic Filter 5) Two UV Lamps 6) Ionizer 7) Radial Ionizer.
Q: When the MAMMOTH xC is ON, I see more dust on surfaces.
Is this normal?
A: Most likely you have the Anion feature ON. This is a sign that the negative ion generated
by the MAMMOTH xC is pulling dust from the air onto a surface. There is visually more dust
on surfaces because the dust that was previous in the air has been “removed” from the air
and dropped down, thus providing you with clean air.
Q: I see that there is a purication button, but it doesn’t work?
I think I might be missing the ozone plate—is this possible?
A: Depending upon the vendor you have placed the order with, the shipment might not
include the ozone plate. In order for the purication button to work, you will need to insert
the ozone plate into the machine. You can contact us directly to assist you with the order.
Q: How often do I need to replace the lters and UV lamp?
