Cooling system
Danger:
Draining hot coolant involves a risk of scalding.
Draining the cooling system
Caution:
Drain coolant into a suitable container
and dispose of it in accordance with
regulations.
Drain coolant as follows when cooling sys-
tem has cooled down
D To let off pressure briefly open cap
(large cap) on filler neck of expansion
tank
D Remove drain plugs in oil cooler hous-
ing and on expansion tank
D Then take off the cap
D Drain coolant into a container of ad-
equate size
D Refit screw plugs
D Fill / bleed the cooling system
